A new report by Niche.com lists several Bergen County municipalities as the best places to live in New Jersey.
The ranking is based on data from the U.S. Census, FBI, BLS, CDC considering factors such as as higher education rate, cost of living grade and housing grade.
Princeton topped the ranking at No. 1, with Upper Montclair and Plainsboro Center trailing behind.
The following municipalities from Bergen and Passaic on the list are:
- No. 75: Harrington Park
- No. 72: Ramsey
- No. 68: River Vale
- No. 63: Woodcliff Lake
- No. 59: Edgewater
- No. 55: Demarest
- No. 51: Fair Lawn
- No. 49: Closter
- No. 39: Oradell
- No. 37: Alpine
- No. 30: River Edge
- No. 27: Fort Lee
- No. 24: Leonia
- No. 20: Allendale
- No. 19: Glen Rock
- No. 17: Tenafly
- No. 11: Ho-Ho-Kus
- No. 8: Haworth
- No. 6: Ridgewood
