"It's a great day for the community to come out as a whole," Executive Director Jim Prendergast said. "This is one of the few events that unites all four schools within the district at one time."

More than $6,000 was raised last year for New Milford High School, David E. Owens Middle School, the Berkley Elementary School and Gibbs.

This year's event begins at 8 a.m.with a pizza party sponsored by Angelina's Pizzeria

"We're just trying to encourage people to come out and have a great day with us," Prendergast said.
