The workshop will discuss getting the most out of high school -- and preparing for life after school.

"These workshops are designed to offer students with (intellectual and developmental disabilities) and their family members an opportunity to learn by doing activities that help build a student's plan for when they leave school," organizers note. "We especially encourage students to attend and participate in the hands-on experience."

The workshop is from 7-8 p.m. at the New Milford Board of Education, 145 Madison Ave., New Milford. For more information, contact William McNamara at wmcnamara@arcnj.org or 732-354-9566.
