Hackensack Riverkeeper To Recognize Volunteers At Bergenfield Elks

BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Volunteers will go to Margaritaville at the Hackensack Riverkeeper's annual appreciation dinner on Friday, Feb. 19 at the Bergenfield Elks Lodge #1477. 

The Hackensack Riverkeeper will have its annual Cheeseburger in Paradise Volunteer Appreciation Dinner Friday, Feb. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bergenfield Elks Lodge.

The Cheeseburger in Paradise Volunteer Appreciation Dinner runs 6:30-9:30 p.m. Volunteers past and present can take part in a thrifty Tricky Tray, games and prizes. A presentation also will be held for the Volunteer of the Year.

To join the party, people are asked to wear a Hawaiian shirt or other Jimmy Buffet-inspired clothing or accessory. There will be a "Jimmy" buffet of cheeseburger sliders, salads, sides and more.

Panasonic and Rockwood Corporation are the sponsors of this year's dinner. The Bergenfield Elks provided the space as sponsorship.
