Gyro Time: Bergenfield Church Announces Popular Fall Festival

BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- A three-day extravaganza of homemade international cuisine is being cooked up at St. Anthony's Orthodox Church in Bergenfield

The 39th Annual International Festival will take place Nov. 10-12 and will feature authentic Greek, Arabic, Russian and Slavic foods for purchase. There will be spanikopita, pirogies, shish kabobs, gyros and more. 

Activities for children include face painting, balloon animals, and an entire booth of kids' toys. 

Shopping and live entertainment is also part of the event. 

St. Anthony Orthodox Church is the first Pan-Orthodox Parish in the Antiochian Archdiocese comprised of Orthodox Christians from the traditional cultures of Eastern Christianity such as Greek, Serbian, Slavic, and Middle Eastern. It was founded in 1956

The church is located at 385 Ivy Lane, Bergenfield.
