"Bring along your friends and questions," organizers note. No dance experience is necessary -- just wear a leotard or shorts and t-shirt.
Here's the schedule for Saturday:
- 11 a.m. -- welcome and intro to the studio
- Hour one -- three 20-minute classes, covering ballet, contemporary dance and musical theater -- for ages 6 and up
- Hour two -- three 20-minute classes, covering hip-hop, jazz and modern dance -- for ages 6 and up
- 1-1:30 p.m. -- pre-K intro to dance class -- for ages 3-5
- 1:30 p.m. -- performance
No pre-registration is required for this event, and all participants will receive a free gift. The order of classes is subject to change.
On Sunday, the open house is from 2-5 p.m., with a performance at 3.
