Bergenfield Library Offers Latin Dance Classes

BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- The Bergenfeld Public Library will host Latin dance classes Thursday nights for adults led by instructor Judith Miranda.

“Latin Dancing with Judith Miranda” is a six-week series focusing on a variety of different dance styles. This beginner’s series will teach participants how to merengue, bachata, salsa and cumbia – no partner needed.

Miranda was born in Cuba and has been dancing to Latin music since she was 8.

Classes will be at 7 p.m., beginning May 5 to celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

The cost is $10 per class or $50 for the six-week series. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring water. Those with significant health problems should consult with their physician prior to registering for the classes.

Interested participants may register at the library's checkout desk. Full payment for the series is required at registration, along with signing a health waiver. Space is limited so register today.
