Bergenfield Deli Destroyed In Fire Reopens Six Months Later

BERGENFIELD, N.J. — Six months after a fire tore through a Bergenfield deli and the shops around it, Foster Village Kosher Deli has reopened its doors.

Back in April, several area fire departments responded to the two-alarm blaze that consumed the South Washington Avenue complex around 4:15 a.m., NorthJersey.com reports.

The deli continued catering as it worked to rebuild the shop, with a goal of reopening last month.
