Alton Smith, of Levittown, PA, had bee driving a BMW 328i when he got into a crash with another BMW around 2:20 a.m. in Robbinsville, New Jersey State Police said. Man In Wheelchair Struck, Killed In Salem County A 79-year-old man in a wheelchair was struck and killed by a car in Salem County, authorities said. Chester Avant, of Pedricktown, died from his injuries, according to New Jersey State Police. State Troopers were called to the intersection of New Road and Pennsville Pedtricktown Road in Oldmans Township at about 4:15 a.m. Monday, April 15, said Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron, a NJSP spokesman. A Buick was northbound on the Pennsville Pedricktown Road when it struck Avant, Lebron said.  Lebron said no one else was injured. The incident remains under investigation.

Pedestrian Struck, Killed Along Route 130 In Camden County A pedestrian was struck and killed along Route 130 in Pennsauken, authorities said. It marked the fourth fatal crash along the Camden County highway since Feb. 1, three of them involving pedestrians.  The latest pedestrian fatality occurred shortly after 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, according to daily New Jersey State Police fatal crash data. It also marked the 12th fatal crash in Camden County this year including six pedestrians. Pennsauken police were not immediately available for comment.

Pedestrian Killed Crossing Burlington County Street A 63-year-old man from South Jersey was killed by a car as he tried to cross an intersection, authorities said. Forrest Honeycutt, 63, was struck while crossing Route 38 from Pine Street shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday, Mount Holly police said. The car's driver stayed at the scene of the crash, police said. An investigation is continuing. The death was the first traffic fatality in Mount Holly this year and the seventh for all of Burlington County, according to reports.

Police ID Pedestrian, 49, Killed In Trenton Crash Trenton police have identified the 49-year-old pedestrian killed by a car on Sunday evening. Abraham Lopez from Deutz Avenue in Hamilton Township was struck about 6:30 p.m., according to a Trenton police captain. That victim's body had to be pulled from underneath a car at Route 129 and Lalor Street, according to initial reports.  Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
