And as so often happens, both got themselves to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center following the shooting at the corner of Godwin Avenue and Straight Street around 12:45 a.m. Tuesday. One of them, a 22-year-old man, was injured seriously, responders said, adding that a 17-year-old was also wounded. Neither was cooperating with investigators, they said. That makes nearly 70 people wounded by gunfire in Paterson so far this year, 15 of whom died.
