A Pennsylvania man admitted traveling to New Jersey for what he thought would be sex with a 14-year-old partner, federal authorities said. Quentin Anthony Blount, 29, of Easton, was one of a dozen men nabbed in an undercover roundup of accused predators who investigators said trolled social media for what would be the statutory rape of underage girls and boys. A 23-year-old construction worker from Clifton who had a sexual relationship with a Fair Lawn pre-teen was charged with statutory rape, authorities said. Elkana Gonzalez was 19 when he “engaged in sexual conduct, including sexual penetration, with the child over an extended period of time” in 2017, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. An Essex County man accused of exchanging sexually explicit images with an underage teen was charged with statutory rape in North Carolina, authorities said. A Palisades Park laborer was charged with statutory rape and a local barber with child endangerment for sexually abusing an underage girl, authorities said Thursday.
