Atlantic City Man Sentenced For BB Gun And Drugs An Atlantic City man was sentenced on Thursday, Jan, 4, to three years in state prison after police found him with a BB gun, heroin, and fentanyl in 2021, authorities said. Atlantic County prosecutors said 43-year-old Emmanuel Diaz had been convicted of third-degree unlawful possession of a BB gun. On Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, Atlantic City police saw Diaz walking near South Montpelier Avenue. The officers said when they made eye contact with Diaz, he put what looked like a semi-automatic black handgun in his front pocket. Man Wounded In Atlantic City Shooting A man was wounded in a shooting in Atlantic City, authorities said. On Sunday, Aug. 28, at 12:55 p.m., Atlantic City police responded to the first block of South Morris Avenue for a report of a possible shot fired in the area.  Officers found a victim on the first block of South Montpelier Avenue. Evidence of a gunshot was also located in the first block of South Morris Avenue. The victim, 43, of Atlantic City, received a superficial gunshot wound to a lower extremity.
