Speeding Teen Crashes Parents' Corvette In Edison
A 17-year-old driver was speeding before crashing his parents' Corvette overnight in Edison, authorities said. The driver damaged the entrance to Pierre's Deli on Georges Road around 1 a.m., totaling the car, South Brunswick police said. The driver was issued a summons. At 10:32 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, South Brunswick police received multiple 911 calls of an overturned van on Route 130 near Deans Rhode Hall Road. Authorities launched an investigation Wednesday, Aug. 3, when witnesses said they saw a woman bleeding from her head and yelling help being pulled into the cab of a tractor trailer. Dean Battaglia, 53, was spraying weeds on a curb at Crossroads North Middle School Wednesday, June 15, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office and South Brunswick district officials. Police have identified the 40-year-old man killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer. Kendall Campbell, of New Brunswick, was driving north on Route 1 near New Road when the crash occurred about 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, South Brunswick police said. Campbell got stuck under the rear of a tractor-trailer driven by a 56-year-old man from Somerset, police said.
