Philadelphia Ex-Con Gets 98 Years In NJ State Prison For Fatal Atlantic City Crime Spree
A Philadelphia man must serve nearly 80 years in New Jersey state prison before he is eligible for parole for a fatal shooting and other crimes, authorities said.
Avery Bracey, 39, was sentenced to 50 years for felony murder, 18 years for attempted witness tampering, 17 years for first-degree robbery, four years for criminal restraint, 18 years for weapons offenses, eight years for aggravated assault and three years on drug charges.
Accounting for both consecutive and concurrent sentences, Bracey’s aggregate sentence is 98 years in New Jersey state prison, with nearly 80 years to be served …
