Michelle Carroll Missing Police in Mullica Township are looking for a woman who went missing from a residential healthcare facility. Michelle Carroll, 70, went missing from Homestead Residential Health Care Facility on Weymouth Road on Friday, Jan. 5. She was last seen taking the trash outside at around 5:30 a.m., local police said. Facility management told officers that Carroll may be wearing a tan or black jacket. She's also known to carry a large black purse, which is seen in photos posted on the police department's Facebook page on Saturday, Jan. 6. Driver, 30, Killed After Striking Tree In South Jersey A 30-year-old Atlantic County man was killed when his SUV went off the road and struck a tree, authorities said. The crash occurred on Monday, May 8, at 4:34 a.m, on the 3200 block of Reading Avenue in the Elwood section of Mullica Township, police said. Mullica Township Police received a 9-1-1 call reporting the crash. Police responded and found a single vehicle accident with entrapment. Man Faces 4 Years For Stealing ATV In Mullica A Camden man faces a four-year state prison sentence for stealing an ATV from a yard in Atlantic County, authorities said. Julio Arroyo, 34, pleaded guilty on Wednesday, Jan. 4 to theft of a Honda ATV from a property in Mullica in May 2019.  Arroyo admitted that he unlawfully entered onto a property that did not belong to him, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. GIlbert of Browns Mills died in the Thursday, Nov. 3 crash, Mullica Township police said. At about 11:45 a.m., police responded to the intersection of White Horse Pike (Route 30) and Elwood Road for a motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles. 2 People Killed In South Jersey House Fire Two people were killed in a weekend house fire, authorities said. In the early morning hours of Sunday, Feb. 20,, police officers along with fire departments from Mullica Township and surrounding areas were dispatched to 1536 Hamburg Ave. for a structure fire.  When first responders arrived, the residence was fully engulfed in flames. Three occupants were able to escape without injury, police said. Two occupants were unable to escape and perished in the blaze.
