Coastal Flooding Advisory Issued Across Jersey Shore This Week Parts of the Jersey Shore are on alert for minor coastal flooding this week, according to forecasters. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a coastal flood advisory for Atlantic, Cape May, and Ocean counties. The advisory was put into effect until 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 29, but flooding is also possible Tuesday and Wednesday. The NWS is forecasting minor flooding around Barnegat Bay in Barnegat Light during morning and evening high tides over the next two days.
