Beloved Toms River Native Dies Suddenly, 30 Beloved Toms River native Paul Christian Bencivenga died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 13. He was 30. Born and raised in Toms River, Paul graduated from Toms River Schools, his obituary says. Paul was known for his caring personality, ability to make others smile, and love for his friends and family. “Although Paul’s life was short, he touched the lives of so many with his kindness and generous heart,” reads his memorial.
