Jersey Shore Woman, 48, Indicted For Murdering Wife With Wine Chiller, Prosecutor Says A 49-year-old woman from the Jersey Shore has been indicted in connection with the fatal bludgeoning of her wife last year, authorities said. Mayra Gavilanez-Alectus of Brick Township was indicted by a grand jury on Wednesday on murder and weapons charges, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. 14-Year-Old Charged In Fatal Jersey Shore Stabbing Of Beloved 'Moe Cabbie' Taxi Driver A 14-year-old suspect has been taken into custody and charged with murder in connection with a fatal stabbing of a beloved taxi driver on Saturday, authorities said. The juvenile, whose name has not been released, is accused of killing Mohammed Khater, 38, of Brick Township at 2:45 p.m. in a residence, according to Ocean County County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Brick Township Police Chief James Riccio. Khater was affectionately and widely known as "Moe Cabbie."
