Philly Man Gets 25 Years For Motel Strangling In Burlington County
A Philadelphia man was sentenced to 25 years in New Jersey State Prison for killing a woman inside a Maple Shade motel, authorities said. Alexander Rivera, 27, pleaded guilty in July to aggravated manslaughter, according to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw. His sentencing was on Friday, Oct. 13. A man accused of strangling and stabbing a woman in a Burlington County motel room appears to be a registered sex offender, NJ Advance Media reports.
