Top Trumps USA, the American division of Winning Moves International, creators of classic games and puzzles, will debut MONOPOLY: South Jersey Shore Edition in June 2023, under license from Hasbro.
The company is inviting well-established South Jersey businesses and non-profits to be part of the localized board by seeking public suggestions for new game square names. The Cape May Lighthouse and Washington Street Mall were among the examples cited at a Thursday news conference.
The South Jersey Shore Edition will replace the perennial board game’s famous Atlantic City squares, from Boardwalk to Park Place, with South Jersey businesses, non-profits and landmarks.

The South Jersey Shore board will also include customized Community Chest, Chance playing cards and money.
“South Jersey has an incredibly unique identity as ‘The Place for Family Fun,’” said Brooke Gorman, a representative from Top Trumps USA. “From bustling nightlife to beautiful beaches, boardwalks and everything in between, we are excited to create an accurate portrayal of what visitors and residents love about the shore.”
