22-Year-Old Driver Killed In Black Horse Pike Crash, Others Hurt: Police

A Burlington County woman was killed when a car crashed into her SUV in Hamilton Township, authorities said.

Troopers responded to the crash on Black Horse Pike near the Penny Pot community at around 12:26 a.m. on Thursday, Mar. 28, a state police spokesperson said. A Ford SUV and a Toyota car were driving west on the road around milepost 37.2.

Investigators said the Toyota crashed into the rear of the Ford, causing the Ford to go off the road. The SUV overturned and hit three parked cars.

Yolanda Pacheco, 22, of Mount Holly, was the SUV driver and died from her injuries. A 27-year-old female SUV passenger from Egg Harbor City suffered moderate injuries.

The car driver, a 25-year-old woman from Mays Landing, was brought to a hospital with moderate injuries.

State police are investigating the cause of the crash.
