One Airlifted To Hospital After Shooting Near Southern Maryland Home: Sheriff One person suffered serious injuries after a reported shooting overnight near a St. Mary's County apartment complex, according to the sheriff's office. Deputies were called at around 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30 to the 22000 block of Valley Estates Drive in Lexington Park, where they found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
