Sheriff's Deputy Who Raped Woman With Infant Nearby Gets Enhanced Prison Term In Maryland
Former Prince George's County Sheriff's deputy Brandon Burroughs may spend more than a decade on the other side of the prison bars for raping a woman with a child in a nearby room, authorities announced. Burroughs was sentenced to 20 years in prison with all but 20 years suspended - above the state's sentencing guidelines - for abusing a woman with a 1-year-old child inside an area home, according to the state's attorney's office.
