The 44th president made a pitstop with some Halloween cookies featuring pumpkins, witches hats, and bats to rally the delighted troops as Election Day rapidly approaches.
While pumping up the volunteers, Obama compared politics to a football team, stating that they can't just have a quarterback, it takes the players around them to round out the squad.
"Politics is the same way," he said. "We can have a president who sees you and hears you and cares about you, but if they don't have help, and they don't have a team, then things don't move.
"And that's why we ned a democratic Senate and a democratic House for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to move forward on their agenda."
Obama then threw his support behind Alsobrooks, who is in a hotly contested Senate race with former Gov. Larry Hogan, a Republican.
"So we know we have an extraordinary candidate ... and we know what we need to do and if we work as hard as we can over these next few days, I am absolutely confident that we will have Kamala Harris in the White House and Tim Walz will be next to her.
"And we can have in the US Senate, a champion for Maryland ... A champion for common sense in Angela Alsobrooks."
