Glen Burnie resident Trevor Garrett Taylor was sentenced on Friday to three years in jail for manslaughter following the grisly attack of Christopher Wright outside his Brooklyn Park home that resulted in his death. According to the Anne Arundel County State's Attorney's Office, in May 2023, police were called to the 300 block of West Arundel Road in Brooklyn Park, where they found Wright suffering from a head injury.…

Home Invaders Thwarted By Rifle-Wielding Homeowner In Maryland, Police Say A group of home invaders picked the wrong person to mess with on Tuesday night after being met by a rifle-wielding homeowner in Anne Arundel County, police say. Officers were called at around 9:30 p.m. on May 28 to the 1400 block of Colony Road in Pasadena, near the White Rocks Marina and Boatyard, where a 21-year-old man reported that he had been followed into his home by several armed suspects.  Police say that the would-be victim was able to retreat into his home, retrieved a rifle, and fired several shots, causing the suspects to scatter and flee.
