An investigation has been launched in Howard County after a man died at an area hospital following a crash on Thursday morning, police say. Officers from the Howard County Police Department were called shortly before 8:45 a.m. on June 20 to the 10500 block of Dorchester Way in Woodstock, where there was a reported crash involving a pedestrian and a 2017 Toyota Corolla. For the fourth time in a week, a motorcyclist was killed in a Maryland crash, this time in Prince George's County. At approximately 3:40 a.m. on Saturday morning, officers were called to the area of Pennsylvania Avenue and Parkland Drive, where there was a reported crash with a motorcyclist down. Two men are dead and a third was injured after a shooting in Prince George's County late on Thursday night, police say. Officers were called shortly before midnight on June 13 to the 7000 block of Berry Road to investigate a reported shooting at a car gathering in Accokeek, where they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. A 3-year-old girl is recovering at an area hospital and a teen is facing a weapons charge after the child accidentally shot herself inside a Montgomery Village apartment, police say. One person was killed and a driver is at large following an early-morning crash involving a pedestrian in Montgomery County on Monday, according to police. An investigation was launched after a pedestrian was fatally struck shortly after 1:15 a.m. on June 3 in the 1000 block of University Boulevard in Takoma Park, investigators say.
