Both Maryland and Virginia were hit hard by the reported closure, which will impact approximately 800 stores across the country. Party City was founded in 1986 and is the largest retailer of party goods in North America. Waldorf resident Samuel Hinton was tragically killed after being involved in a crash with a sedan while crossing through a Forestville intersection over the weekend.  The crash was reported at around 1 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5 at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Donnell Drive, where there was a reported crash involving Hinton.
