There have now been 15 arrested reported in connection to an off-campus assault and hate crime reported near Salisbury University that resulted in a frat suffering sanctions. A 50-year-old Maryland man has been arrested after authorities said he preyed on a 13-year-old girl — who actually turned out to be an undercover detective — online. Scott Paul Locastro, of West Friendship, initiated conversation with the Frederick County Sheriff's detective through an online app on Jan. 3, the office said. An 82-year-old passenger sitting in the back of a Mercedes-Benz that was struck in Howard County died at from her injuries at the hospital, police confirmed. At approximately 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 15, police say that a 2021 Mercedes GLE 350 was attempting to make a left turn from southbound Route 32 onto Route 144 when it was struck by a Jeep Renegade traveling through the intersection. A West Friendship man has been arrested in connection to a child sexual abuse offense that occurred at a Taekwondo studio in 2021, authorities say. Steve Choi, 42, allegedly sexually abused the victim at Lion Choi's Taekwondo Studio in the 2000 block of Annapolis Road in Hanover over the course of several years, starting when the victim was 14, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
