Two Killed In Separate Overnight Crashes Hours Apart In Maryland: Police Two people were killed in separate overnight crashes in Laurel and Jessup, prompting investigations by Howard County police into the causes of both fatal collisions. The first crash happened around 10:45 p.m. on Jan. 31 when a 2013 Hyundai Sonata was traveling eastbound on Whiskey Bottom Road near Kings Post Court.  Investigators say the driver failed to navigate a curve and struck a tree. Howard County Road Rage Shooting Probed An alleged road rage incident in Jessup sent a man in the hospital with gunshot wounds, authorities say. The victim reported that he was shot by a suspect in another vehicle, who then fled the scene at the area of Washington Boulevard and Cedar Avenue around 2:16 a.m., Sunday, July 3, Howard County police say.
