Tractor-Trailer Fire Shuts Down I-81 South Near PA/MD Border: PennDOT Interstate 81 South has fully reopened in Franklin County after a tractor-trailer fire shut down the roadway Friday evening, PennDOT announced. The fire occurred between Exit 14 (Wayne Avenue) and Exit 10 (PA-914/Marion) just after 6:15 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6, initially closing all southbound lanes, according to PennDOT spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler.
