The crew on American Airlines Flight 5342 was based in Charlotte Douglas International Airport, WSOC-TV Channel 9 reported. Among them were Captain Jonathan Campos, First Officer Samuel Lilley, and flight attendants Ian Epstein and Danasia Elder. 'Devastated:' Death Of National Guard Sgt. In Maryland Crash Stuns Loved Ones Tributes have come flooding in for a beloved 30-year-old Maryland Air National Guard staff sergeant who was killed in a Middle River crash.  A Mazda being driven by Lacy O'Neill was struck pulling out of a parking lot shortly before 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3 near the 3000 block of Eastern Boulevard, Baltimore County police said. O'Neill was rushed to an area hospital, where she later died from her injuries sustained in the crash. Virginia Military Aide Brings Gun To White House: Report A 54-year-old military aide from Virginia was arrested after US Secret Service found a loaded and unregistered firearm in his bag during a security check, the Washington Post reports. Patrick James Tansey works at the White House and is allowed on the grounds but is not authorized to be armed, a Secret Service spokesman told the outlet. Records show Tansey is from Manassas. A hearing was set for Oct. 5, and Tansey was freed. His lawyer declined comment to the Washington Post and it wasn't immediately clear which military branch he was assigned to.
