A Maryland community came together to help clean up hateful graffiti that was found spray painted outside a Montgomery County elementary school. Man Convicted Of Paralyzing Officer During Traffic Stop Shooting Denied Parole: Police
The man who shot a Montgomery County Police officer more than two decades ago and left him paralyzed has been denied parole, according to officials. Terrence Green, who shot Officer Kyle Olinger during a traffic stop in Silver Spring in August 2003, will stay behind bars, authorities announced on Tuesday afternoon. Olinger was shot in the neck during the stop, which left him with a severed spinal cord, leaving him paralyzed from the chest down. A child responsible for multiple bomb threats targeting schools in Montgomery County has been identified, according to police.
