Suspects At Large After Accidental Shooting Kills Elderly Woman In Maryland A massive reward is being offered in connection to the shooting of an elderly woman in Lanham, authorities say. Deborah Armstrong, 71, has been identified as the victim in the shooting that occurred shortly after 9 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 18 in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway and Business Parkway, according to Prince George's County police. Police were called to the scene for reports of a shooting involving two vehicles, officials said. Middle River Man Charged With Killing Stranger In District Heights A Middle River man has been charged with murder in connection to the June death of a Lanham victim, authorities say. Ja'Quan Green, 21, was arrested Thursday, July 7, for the killing of Daniel James Harris, 20, according to the Prince George's County police department. Green is accused of shooting Harris in the 1700 block of Forest Park Drive in District Heights around 1:30 a.m., June 13. Initial investigation revealed that Green and Harris did not know each other, and the motive is currently unknown. 20-Year-Old Driver Killed In 'Good Luck Road' Crash A 20-year-old driver died in a crash on a street on "Good Luck Road" this week in Prince George's County. Chris Brian Orellana, of Lanham, was heading east when he lost control of his car and crossed the double yellow line, hitting a westbound minivan around 8:35 p.m. on June 28, PGPD said. Orellana was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The driver and passengers of the van were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
