One person was hospitalized in Maryland overnight in Carroll County when a fast-moving fire broke out in a Sykesville garage. First responders were called at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 2, to the 6100 block of Frontier Road, when a resident reported a fire that had broken out in an attached garage and spread to an attic. Group Of Teens Charged With Stealing 16 Vehicles In Maryland: Police
Howard County police have charged a group of teenage suspects for stealing numerous vehicles during a six-month period in 2022. The arrests of the teens closed 16 vehicle thefts occurring from February-July in Laurel, Elkridge, Hanover, and neighboring jurisdictions, according to Howard County police. Alexander Bennett, 19, of Laurel, is charged with 15 counts of motor vehicle theft and 30 total counts of felony theft.
