A dozen members of an an alleged Drug Trafficking Organization that was operating out of an Irvington neighborhood have been indicted on a slew of charges following the discovery of mass quantities of fentanyl, heroin, cocaine, and pot, officials said Thursday, March 14. A man believed to have killed a woman in Howard County was fatally struck by a vehicle while fleeing the scene, police said. The crash occurred just north of Country Meadows Lane in Laurel shortly before 9:45 p.m., according to the Howard County Police Department. A 1995 Chevy 1500 was heading northbound when it crossed the median and struck a southbound 2007 Pontiac Solstice. A 77-year-old woman was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver over the weekend in Howard County. Police have identified Soon Ja Chung as the pedestrian who was struck and killed late in the afternoon on Saturday, Jan. 20 in Ellicott City.
