A 54-year-old New Jersey man has been arrested after police in Delaware say he stole the vehicle of a Good Samaritan checking on him after a crash. Nadeem Cassiem of Keasbey (Woodbridge) was heading south on I-95 in a Toyota Rav4 in Newark, DE near State Route 273 around 7:10 a.m. Wednesday Feb. 7, when he rear-ended a white Dodge RAM pickup, Delaware State Police said. The sounds of a child sobbing in an alley led to the recovery of a non-verbal kid in Baltimore whose guardian was caught on camera leaving him behind, police said. At approximately 11:15 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 10, the Baltimore Police Department received a report of possible child neglect after a child was found inconsolable and restrained in a stroller in the 300 block of East Lafayette Avenue. Man Shot Multiple Times Saved By Bystander In Baltimore: Police
A good samaritan saved a man's life after flagging down officers following a shooting in Baltimore, authorities say. The witness alerted officers in the 3300 block of Garrison Boulevard around 11:50 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 29, according to Baltimore police. The witness advised responding officers that someone had been shot in the area. Police canvassed the area to find the victim, and were able to find the 31-year-old victim in the 3300 block of Ayrdale Avenue. All hands were on deck on Sunday afternoon as the US Coast Guard came to the aid of a family whose boat was taking on water in Virginia.
