NASA Rocket Launch Will Be Visible In Virginia
A small rocket expected to lift off form the NASA Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia will be visible across the East Coast Tuesday, April 25. The Terrier-Improved Malemute sounding rocket carrying the SubTEC-9 is set to launch between 7:15 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, April 25. See map above for where and how long the rocket will be visible. The mission is to test new technology projects being developed by the NASA Sounding Rockets Program Office. The launch was initially set for Monday, April 24, but was scrubbed due to issues with payload instrumentation.

A Hurricane Watch has been issued along Florida's East Coast as newly named subtropical storm Nicole makes its way toward the East Coast. Nicole, located about 380 miles east-northeast of the Bahamas as of early Tuesday morning, Nov. 8, is moving northwest. A turn toward the west and west-southwest is expected later in the day, and that motion should continue through Wednesday, Nov. 9, the National Hurricane Center said. NASA Rocket Launch Will Be Visible In NJ
A NASA rocket set to launch early Monday, Nov. 7 will be visible along the East Coast. The Northrop Grumman’s Antares rocket and Cygnus cargo spacecraft had initially been set to launch Sunday, Nov. 6, but were postponed due to a fire alarm at Northrop Grumman’s Cygnus spacecraft control center in Dulles, VA. A tropical rainstorm developing off the East Coast will put a damper on the region's second half of the weekend. The East Coast is off to a wet and rainy October. A new storm system caused in part by Hurricane Ian continues to track along the East Coast, making for coastal flooding and even more rain, meteorologists say. SpaceX Launch Baffles East Coast
What some first thought was a meteor making its way up the East Coast turned out to be Elon Musk's SpaceX. The Falcon 9 rocket sent Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida just after 7:30 p.m., according to a news release. Companies Selling Honey Tainted With Drugs Used To Fight Erectile Dysfunction: FDA
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued warning letters to four companies that allegedly illegally sold honey-based products that could contain drug ingredients found in erectile dysfunction medication.
