The National Weather Service has released snowfall totals for the DMV in this week's storm. In Maryland, Sabillasville which appears to have gotten the most amount of snow: 8.5 inches on Tuesday, Feb. 13, the NWS said. In Virginia, Gavel Springs in Frederick County got about 4.5 inches. Father Accused Of Causing 'Severe Injuries' To Infant In Maryland: Police
A Maryland father has been accused of causing “severe injuries” to his infant, authorities announced on Wednesday, Jan. 10. Oliver Hernandez Caballero, 25, of Damascus, was charged with two counts of first-degree child abuse, the Montgomery County Police Department said. Investigators say the child was taken to Shady Grove Hospital with eating and breathing difficulties after being home alone with Caballero around 9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 28.
