Maryland Felon In Tactical Gear With Gun Walks Into Police Station Claiming To Be U.S. Marshal
A man who walked into a police station dressed like a federal agent — complete with a badge, tactical gear, and a loaded pistol — has been sentenced to more than three years in federal prison, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
Jaimie Lynn Cummings, 52, of York County, was sentenced to 40 months’ imprisonment for impersonating an officer of the United States and illegally possessing a short-barreled firearm. He was sentenced by United States District Judge Kelli N. Neary on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, according to the release.

Shots-Fired Call In Maryland Leads To Seizure Of Ghost Gun, Meth, Coke, And Pills: Police
A shots-fired call at a Maryland apartment complex led to a major bust that turned up a “ghost gun,” ammo, and a stash of suspected cocaine, meth, and pills, according to police.
Officers were called around 4:45 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 3, to the 7800 block of Burton Drive in Glen Burnie, where they found evidence of gunfire inside one of the apartments, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
Investigators from the Northern District Detective Unit secured the scene and obtained a search warrant that uncovered a cache of drugs, ammunition, and packaging materials.
