A 70-year-old Shippensburg resident is in the hospital in Maryland following a fire on Tuesday evening, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Thursday, Feb. 1. Deborah Westbrook's single-family home at 303 Dwelling Court had a fire break out near the entryway at 5:48 p.m. on Jan. 30, Trooper First Class Kemerer detailed in the release. Westbrook was found by Shippensburg firefighters who entered the smoke-filled home through the first window about a minute later.
