A multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer that leaked fuel onto I-270 tied up traffic on Tuesday afternoon in Montgomery County. In advance of the evening commute in Gaithersburg, several northbound lanes were blocked on Oct. 22 when a truck was involved n a multi-vehicle crash that resulted in fuel being spilled onto the roadway. According to a Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson, the crash left the truck with a ruptured fuel saddle tank. New details have been released by the Howard County Health Department as they investigate an incident that found dozens in the same facility suffering from food poisoning symptoms on Monday afternoon. At approximately 3:45 p.m. on Oct. 21, Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services personnel were called to the 7700 block of Chesapeake Bay Court in Jessup, where there were reports of dozens of people who fell ill from reportedly eating the same food.
