A man who was found with a suspected improvised explosive device (IED) after breaking into his ex-girlfriends home is behind bars and facing serious charges, according to the Office of the Maryland Fire Marshal. Andrew Ervin Romack, 62, was arrested following a joint investigation by the fire marshal and Maryland State Police following a reported burglary earlier this week at an Allegany County home. It only took a week for members of the Frederick County Sheriff's Office to apprehend a person wanted for assaulting a staff member while trespassing at an area high school, authorities announced. At approximately 11 a.m. on Sept. 17, a questionable man entered Urbana High School through an exterior door, and was walking the halls until a staff member spotted him and attempted to take him outside of the building. A pilot received an unexpected passenger who allegedly attempted to steal a plane at Martin State Airport in Baltimore County, police confirmed. Maryland State Police troopers received a report at approximately 5:10 p.m. at the airport in Middle River on Friday afternoon, when Joseph Goldman, 43, drove past security and onto airport grounds in an attempt to take the plane.
