A teenager is being charged as an adult along with three other suspects following a midday stop that found them in possession of a stolen weapon in Frederick County. At around 1:45 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, officers from the sheriff's office stopped a vehicle in the area of Executive Way and Macon Street in Frederick for a reported traffic violation. A 16-year-old boy was apprehended after being busted in a stolen pick-up truck, then attempting to steal a police cruiser in Montgomery County. Officers from the Gaithersburg Police Department spotted a stolen Ford F-150 in the area of Travis Avenue, and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, though the teen had other intentions and began speeding up. John Fetterman's I-70 crash on June 9 said he might have been speeding before the accident, according to body camera footage obtained by the Washington Post. A Maryland State Police helicopter was instrumental in rescuing two toddlers from a hot vehicle that was abandoned following a pursuit that ended in Pennsylvania on Tuesday afternoon, according to authorities.
