Thieves in Seattle made off with more than 500 eggs earlier this month, just days before a massive heist in Pennsylvania, where 100,000 organic eggs were stolen from a distribution site, authorities said.
In Seattle, two suspects were caught on camera stealing 540 eggs and other breakfast supplies from a restaurant’s refrigerated storage shed on Feb. 5. A Montgomery County Transit Services employee is facing multiple charges after allegedly strangling and assaulting a pregnant woman before throwing her to the ground outside a Ride On bus, police said.

Joshua Martin Bresnick, 32, was arrested early Friday, Jan. 3, 2025, during a Pennsylvania State Police raid at a home on Buchanan Trail in McConnellsburg. He is accused of fatally shooting 20-year-old Rakeem Floyd on Dec. 18, 2024, outside Southgate Mall, Chambersburg police said.

A man released from police custody on accusations he raped, assaulted, and handcuffed a house cleaner in August was shot and killed by officers in Charles County, authorities said.
Officers responding to reports of an assault on the 7300 block of Tottenham Drive found Jordan Proctor, 30, inside and wearing a mask around 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, the Maryland Attorney General said. A Baltimore man who carjacked a police detective at gunpoint and fled in his unmarked vehicle will spend the next 12 years in federal prison, authorities announced.
Trevon Gardner, 23, was sentenced Friday, Dec. 6, by U.S. District Judge Stephanie A. Gallagher to 12 years behind bars, followed by five years of supervised release, for the armed carjacking of Baltimore Police Department Detective Aaron Cain, according to the US Attorney’s Office.
