Police Release Photos Of Suspects, Vehicle Connected To Fatal Maryland Tire Shop Shooting
New details have been released by police in Prince George's County as they continue their search for two suspects wanted in connection to a fatal tire shop shooting over the weekend. At approximately 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14, officers were called to the 1200 block of Marblewood Avenue in Capitol Heights, where they found one person suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to an area hospital, where he later died from injuries sustained during the shooting. A 19-year-old man died at a Maryland hospital nearly a week after he was involved in a crash on his e-bike in Prince George's County, police say. Hyattsville resident Jorge Martinez-Martinez has been identified by investigators as the person killed in a Riverdale Park crash last week. A pair of wanted suspects are at large following an armored truck robbery on Tuesday morning in Prince George's County. Members of the Hyattsville Police Department were called to investigate the armed robbery of a Brinks courier who was accosted at around 10:15 a.m. on Aug. 20 in the 4500 block of Jefferson Street before fleeing in a silver sedan with Maryland tags. The rash of fatal motorcycle crashes in Maryland has continued in the region after a District Heights man was killed over the weekend, police say. Investigators from the Prince George's County Police Department have identified 35-year-old Johnathan Harkness as the rider who was killed shortly after 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 15 near the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Walters Lane when he crashed into a sedan. Police confirmed that a moped rider was killed early on Tuesday morning in a Prince George's County crash. At approximately 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, officers were called to the scene of a fatal crash near the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway and Columbia Park Road in Landover.
