A community is in mourning after a popular family man and motorcycle aficionado from St. Mary's County was killed unexpectedly in a head-on crash during a ride through Welcome earlier this week. Shortly before 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, Mechanicsville resident Alan Reinburg, 34, was struck by a Ford pick-up truck in Charles County near Route 6/Port Tobacco Road at Academy Place, according to investigators.
