A 23-year-old man has been charged with multiple counts of murder in connection to the fatal shooting of Bowie native Jakel Stone on Saturday. Hyattsville resident Lawrence Fox, Jr. has been identified and charged for his alleged role in the death of Stone, 34, in Landover during the holiday weekend, authorities announced on Wednesday. Four people have been charged in connection to the fatal stabbing of a 34-year-old man in Prince George's County last month. Shortly after 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 5, officers from the Hyattsville Police Department were called to the 5300 block of Ager Road for a welfare check, where they found Samuel Garcia Rojas suffering from traumatic injuries inside a vehicle. A 25-year-old man has been accused of committing patricide after his father was found dead in Montgomery County, police say. Nicholas Marquis Stull has been charged for allegedly shooting and killing 53-year-old Michael Wayne Stull on Saturday night before turning the gun on himself in a failed attempt to take his own life. A 38-year-old Maryland man has been accused of killing a toddler in his care earlier this year. The Prince George's County Police Department announced on Wednesday afternoon that District Heights resident Kevin Robinson has been accused of killing 2-year-old Nychelle Pettus, the daughter of his girlfriend who all shared the same home. A man who opened fire at a woman inside a Maryland motel will spend decades in prison following his sentencing, the Howard County State’s Attorney’s Office announced.
