Baltimore Man Accused Of Murdering Sheriff's Deputy In Maryland: Police
A suspect is in custody after an off-duty Howard County Sheriff's deputy was shot and killed in Baltimore on Friday morning. City resident Jewel Crowder, 40, has been arrested and charged with the first-degree murder of 23-year-old Deputy Ryan Alexandr Demby, authorities announced. The Baltimore Police Department announced the arrest on Saturday. Police in Maryland are warning area residents to be on the lookout after a resident escaped from custody. At approximately 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, the Howard County Police Department were notified that Randy Morris, an inmate, escaped from a transport van.
