Man Attempted To Kill Roommate In Southern Maryland: State Police (Developing) Maryland State Police have apprehended a man who allegedly stabbed his roommate who had to be airlifted to an area hospital early on Monday morning for treatment of his injuries. Lee Cook III, 26, is facing several charges for his alleged role in the near-fatal stabbing of 36-year-old Eric Steele early on Monday, July 17 in Southern Maryland. Both men are Federalsburg residents in Caroline County.
