Montgomery County Schools Superintendent Monifa McKnight Agrees To Step Away Embattled Montgomery County Schools Superintendent Monifa McKnight has reached a mutual agreement with the Board of Education to part ways with the district, effective immediately. An announcement was made on Tuesday, Feb. 2 advising the community that McKnight would no longer be at the head of schools, with COO Brian Hull stepping in as the acting superintendent. The Montgomery County Department of Police issued a fresh alert on Thursday as they continue to search for the vandals who tagged a bridge under Josiah Henson Parkway late last month.
